SERVING NORTH GEORGIA + BEYOND
Hi, I’m English! I’m a photographer, wife, mom, and longtime lover of the little details that make a moment worth remembering. I call Cartersville, Georgia home, and after years of doing photography alongside other work, I’m incredibly grateful to now give this business my full attention.
Photography, for me, is about preserving people as they really are. I want you to have the smiling-at-the-camera photo for Grandma’s wall, but I also want the belly laughs, tiny hands, personalities, movement, and moments you didn’t even realize were happening. The goal is a gallery that feels like your life, beautifully documented without making it something it isn’t.
My Approach
BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS DON'T REQUIRE PERFECT BEHAVIOR
Sessions are designed to leave room for people to be themselves. There will be direction when you need it, movement when things feel stiff, and plenty of space for the moments that happen naturally. The end result is a mix of classic portraits and genuine, candid images that still feel like you years from now.
Genuine
Real connection + real personality
Relaxed
Gentle direction, never stiff posing
Classic
Natural editing made to last
A few things about me
OLD PLACES + GOOD STORIES
I have a master’s degree in Historic Preservation, so maybe it’s no surprise that I’m drawn to things worth keeping. Old buildings, family stories, photographs, and all the little pieces of life that connect us to where we’ve been.
After moving around quite a bit in my adult life, North Georgia has become home. I love getting to know the people here, finding beautiful little corners to photograph, and putting down roots in a community my family gets to be part of.
Photography may get most of my creative energy these days, but I’ve always loved making things. Give me a camera, a piano, an art project, a house that needs renovating, or a slightly overambitious idea and I’m happy.
Getting comfortable in front of a camera is a whole lot easier when you know the person standing behind it.
So, here are a few things that make me, me.
